Speech Theme: The Magic of Rotary

Contestants, who must be in grades 9 – 12, will speak on the Rotary theme: The Magic of Rotary. Each Club should hold a contest and select their winners. Club first place winners advance to the area contest held by Assistant Governors. Each first-place winner in the Area contests will advance to compete in the District Final Contest.

First, second and third place winners of the District Finals will receive cash awards:

• • $1000 for first place
  • $500 for second
  • $250 for third

Speech Contest Key Dates:

• April 11, 2025: Club/Area Governor Submits Speech Entry to Contest Chair
• April 19, 2025: Final District Speech Contest
• April 26, 2025: Youth Conference – All Entrants Are Invited – Winner Will Present Their Speech
